Kansas Newspapers & Publications
Kansas Genealogical publications (magazines, newsletters, periodicals, books, etc.) contain all types of invaluable information about specific ancestors, whole lineages and families, places in time, and about all sorts of genealogical records and repositories.
Newspapers
Several Kansas newspapers are in the collection at the Kansas State Historical Society. That isn’t surprising, since the founding members of the society were newspaper editor.
That led to the society having one of the largest collections of state newspapers available. They are currently working on placing all of the newspaper records from before 1930 on microfilm.
