Grundy County, Missouri (Map It) was created on January 29, 1841 from Livingston County. The county was named in honor of Felix Grundy (1777-1840), U.S. Congressman and U.S. Senator from Tennessee who also served as the 13th Attorney General of the United States.

Grundy County is bordered by Mercer County (north), Sullivan County (east), Linn County (southeast), Livingston County (south), Daviess County (southwest), Harrison County (northwest).

Grundy County Cities and Towns include Galt, Laredo.

Grundy County Townships include Spickard Township, Trenton Township, Tindall Township, Brimson Township.

Grundy County, Missouri Courthouse Records

The Grundy County Courthouse is located in Trenton, Missouri. The Clerk's Office DOES NOT DO RESEARCH. Most staff will assist people in finding the materials, but it is up to the individual to do the research.
