Arizona had several frontier military posts. Many of those records, as well as other government records, can be found at the Arizona Historical Society. Quartermaster records regarding equipment, construction, and supplies for military posts in Arizona can also be found at the Arizona Historical Society. The card catalog contains files regarding their microfilmed holdings. Society members may pay a small amount to use the supply copies and card catalog, as needed. The Arizona State Adjutant General’s Office holds military records for the state. The FHL has the WWI Draft Registration Cards for 1917 and 1918 on microfilm, as well as one roll each of the NARA microfilm for the Civil War United Army Volunteers (M532) and the Confederate Soldiers (M318).
