Page County, Iowa (Map It) was created on February 24, 1847 (Organized in 1852) from Unorganized Territory. Page County was named in honor of John Page, a captain killed in Battle of Palo Alto in the Mexican-American War

Page County, Iowa Courthouse Records
The Page County Courthouse is located in Clarinda, Iowa. Page County was attached to Appanoose County for a breif time prior to organization March 22, 1852. Some early records may be found there.
