Tucker County, West Virginia (Map It) was created on March 7, 1856 from portions of Randolph County. The county was named in honor of Henry St. George Tucker (1780-1848), U.S. Congressman (VA) and Virginia Supreme Court.
Tucker County is bordered by Preston County (north), Grant County (east), Randolph County (south), Barbour County (west).
