Beadle County, South Dakota (Map It) was created on February 22, 1879 from Buchard County, Clark County, Kingsbury County, and Spink County. The county was named in honor of William Henry Harrison Beadle, chief surveyor of Dakota Territory.
Beadle County is bordered by Spink County (north), Clark County (northeast), Kingsbury County (east), Sanborn County, Jerauld County (southwest), Hand County (west).
