Brantley County, Georgia (Map It) was created on August 14, 1920 from Charlton County, Pierce County and Wayne County. Brantley County was named in honor of William Gordon Brantley (1860 - 1934), U.S. Congressman.
Brantley County is bordered by  Wayne County (northeast), Glynn County (east), Camden County, Charlton County (southwest), Ware County (west), Pierce County (northwest).
