I offer free genealogy research, including in-person lookups in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties (CA) and online research for those farther away.
In-person: courthouse and vital records visits, library/historical society lookups, cemetery searches and headstone photos, county recorder and probate record requests.
Online: census, city directory, and newspaper research; building family trees and breaking through brick walls; DNA match analysis (AncestryDNA, 23andMe, GEDmatch); general research guidance.
I'm especially passionate about family reunification work. My background in executive support gives me strong organization, attention to detail, and discretion with sensitive information.
All research is free. I may ask for reimbursement of hard costs (record copies, postage) — never for my time.
