Volunteer Research Description

I can do research in Dijon (Burgundy Region of France), including visiting archives, photographing addresses and doing a limited amount of transcription and translation.

I have, for example, researched the French family of the bride of a US soldier stationed near Dijon in WW1. I was able to establish her genealogy, consulting original records, and also provide photographs of the house where she had lived.

I have an extensive historical library of Dijon and the region.
