Brief Directory Description
I am available to help with any and all genealogy research pertaining to Will, Kane and Kendall Counties in Illinois. I can do some look-ups for vital records, take cemetery photos and visit repositories in Cook and DuPage Counties in Illinois on a limited basis. I have copies of vital records and some cemetery books for Perry County, IL, Lyons County Kansas and Lancaster Co. Nebraska, but will not be able to do on-site research in these places for you.
Volunteer Research Description

I am the genealogy Librarian at the Plainfield Public Library in Plainfield, Illinois. I have a large genealogy collection (plus LDS microfilms for Will County which include vital records and court records) at my disposal and can do research at no charge. The library always appreciates any donations made to keep our collections accessible.
