Sally went above and beyond!! I am blown away by the details that she was able to locate, and the document she was able to share with me regarding a 'lost' family member. I now have the ability to share this with other family who will be extremely happy to learn a bit more about their lineage.
I cannot thank Sally enough.. her passion to investigate and knowledge of where to dig.. is beyond critiquing.
Thank you again Sally... you're one of those few angels willing to go that extra distance for a stranger on the other side of the world.
Cheers!

Sally visited the Kent Archives for me and photographed a number of documents I'd been after for quite a while. As I live in Australia it is only through the helpfulness of the RAOGK volunteers like Sally that I can progress my research. Sally responded to my first email almost immediately and I am most appreciative of her assistance.

Sally helped me solve a mystery regarding my 4th Great Uncle who was arrested in London in 1821. I did not know what ended up happening to him. I thought the research would require an actual visit to the Archives in London. Sally, however, pursued my 4th Great Uncle's fate...and found incredible documents online for me. I can say, really, Sally did an excellent job helping me! She is tenacious, and her summaries of the family events/timelines were so eloquently written. I really appreciate how much time and effort Sally put into this project and helping me solve a lingering riddle. (As it turns out, my 4th great uncle was arrested at 14 for theft. He was sentenced to hanging. However, he and his cohort were shown leniency. My uncle was sent to Australia, and has his own family tree there!).
I also very much appreciated Sally's very prompt reply to my initial inquiry, and her very real curiosity about this case! I learned quite a bit through Sally's research. For instance the explanation about how inmates were kept in offshore "prison hulks". Thank you again, Sally! Nicki :)
