Brief Directory Description
Allegheny County deeds and wills. Western PA resources at the genealogy room of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. Resources at the Heinz History Center. Will consider church, cemetery and other local records on a case-by-case basis. Will consider Washington, Lawrence and Mercer counties on a case-by-case basis.
Volunteer Research Description
Will charge for parking in Pittsburgh, and mileage and tolls for Lawrence and Mercer Counties. I expect the requester to have done the leg work for places like churches (will they accept visitors, allow records to be copied, etc.) and cemeteries (what is the plot location?).
