Hello, I am a volunteer at the Coweta County Genealogical Society in Newnan, GA. I am happy to look up information available in our library. We have an extensive collection of Georgia resources (not only Coweta County), hundreds of family files, and newspapers. The library charges .50 per page of copy for any of the resources available. That fee would need to be reimbursed to me. Additionally, I will need reimbursement for any mailing cost incurred. aka "Donations to the coffee" fund via my Venmo account. I am also able to travel to local cemeteries, look for old homes, and access online sources such as Newspapers.com, Fold3, and FamilySearch. FYI-Many of our local courthouse records are available free of charge on Family Search and our local newspaper can be found on the Georgia Newspaper Project for free as well. If you would like more help than I can offer, official queries can be made at the Coweta County Genealogical Society's website www.ccgsinc.org. We have weekly volunteers who can also help. Society queries will take precedence on my volunteer days.
