Brief Directory Description
As a Jungian dreamer, literary artist, and veteran caregiver, I often seek the wonder and solace of a cemetery. The headstones read like an archive of a place, sparking curiosity about the stories of those buried beneath. It's fun to find genealogical graves and stories for people searching for ancestral connections.
Volunteer Research Description
I live on the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's U.P. Families immigrated here to work in the copper mines and forests from the 1830s-1968. Some stayed. Many left. If you have an Upper Peninsula relative(s) buried in this historic mining district, I can do cemetery research/headstone photos/some online research for Houghton and Keweenaw Counties for FREE. I'll expand the search to Ontonogon, Gogebic, Iron, Marquette, and Baraga Counties for $20 in gas money.
