Before submitting your request, please read the Guidelines for making a request. We want your visit to be a successful one.
Submit as specific a request as possible -- don't be too general.
Be sure to limit your request to areas in which the volunteer is offering to research. Do not ask the volunteer for out of area requests.
If you do not find a volunteer in the area you need, check back again as new volunteers come along every day.
Never make the same request of more than one volunteer at a time.

I usually do Forest Lawn, Cypress CA, and occasionally Fairhaven/Santa Ana in Orange County. I occasionally will do Sunnyside Cemetery next to Signal Hill (beware, there was a Sunnyside Cemetery also until the 1950s on Cherry Ave in Long Beach, it is now Forest Lawn Long Beach- I don't do that one). I will sometimes do Long Beach Municipal, Wilmington Pioneer, San Pedro Harbor View, but plot markers for these are slim and none. To save time, PLEASE try and find out if the marker/person you seek is indeed at that cemetery. PLUS THE EXACT NAME AND LOCATION of the marker at the respective place, this saves duplication, unneeded trips and such. Thank you for your understanding. |
